An ornamental or fruiting tree producing an attractive burst of red flowers in spring months. Leaves are green on the upper surface and silver on the underside. The oval fruit ripens in autumn & encloses a whitish layer of fresh, tangy, granular flesh. Fertilise to keep fruiting.
