This Iris has remarkable elegant flowers of inky purple-black petals, delicately marked with gold lines and slightly fragrant. In Greek chrysographes means 'gold writing'. It is a striking herbaceous perennial forming a clump of narrow, grey-green leaves. Potted Plant.
