Louisiana Iris. Makes a clump of narrow, green foliage, topped with flowers usually red but variable to cinnamon-lavender up to 10 cm in diameter with petals often reflexed. Either moist soil or up to 10cm of standing water suits this plant just fine. NZ grown, sold bare rooted.
